In this book Boris describes the techniques he uses when painting.  It would probably be of enormous interest and help to someone with artistic talent, but to the majority of us it provides a great selection of his pictures in a large format.  There are examples of sketches and the image that resulted, the reference photograph used for the final painting, and photographs of works in several stages of progress.

I am not including every sketch and line drawing, nor the photographs.  My purpose here is to indicate the paintings which you will get if you buy the book.  The numbers are the page numbers in the book.  Where a title is followed by a second title in parentheses, the first is the title given in this book, the second the title referenced elsewhere, usually a majority vote.

Geert Damhoff, of the Netherlands, has a book of the same title, in this case a 1996 reprint edition published by Fireside, ISBN 068481904X, which differes from my edition in that the image on page 71 is Saggitarius, the Archer.

Geert has also identified the components of the composite image as two of the lasses from Barbarian Queens, the green monster from page 7, and parts of The Executioner and Iron Warrior, with the Master's Hand from a picture illustrating the rendering of Chrome Robot.
